Collection summaryRare materials from the right-wing political organisation.DescriptionA collection of documents, pamphlets and audio and video material relating to the Australian League of Rights, a right-wing political movement led by Mr Eric Butler of Melbourne. Beginning in 1946, it had an active following in the New England and Southern Queensland areas.
The initial donation from Dr Keith Richmond included a significant range of the League’s publications including complete sets of the journals Heritage and Queensland Calling, documents, pamphlets, articles and election materials. A deposit by Mr David Thompson in 1994 saw audiovisual and further documentary material added to the collection.
