Collection SummaryRecordings of Aboriginal languages from the North Coast of NSW and New England, Daly River, Djamindjungan and the Kimberly regions. DescriptionThe Hoddinott Collection is comprised of journal articles, sound recordings and field notes on Australian Aboriginal languages. The recordings include interviews with cultural knowledge holders from the across northern NSW, and the Daly and Victoria River regions of the Northern Territory.
The recordings were made by W.G. (Bill) Hoddinott and associate researchers between 1965-1984. Bill was Associate Professor in the English Department of the University of New England.
