Miss Honora Kelly was the third daughter of Martin and Catherine Kelly of Stoney Creek StatIon, who were early pioneers of the New England District. She was born on 7th April 1848 at Burindi Station Barraba N.S.W., and was taken at the age of two weeks to her new home, Stoney Creek Station, Bundarra, where she lived the rest of her life. She died in July 1898, at Stoney Creek Station, at the age of 50.
Kelly wrote many poems and articles which were printed in the local press and the Town and Country Journal. Her pen name was Bundarrania.
