Armidale and District Historical Society Inc.

Armidale and District Historical Society is a community-based organisation dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Armidale and the New England region. Established in 1959, the Society supports historical research, collects and cares for local heritage materials, publishes journals and newsletters, and hosts regular talks, exhibitions, and community events. Based at Dumaresq Chambers in Armidale, the Society provides an important resource for researchers, family historians, and anyone interested in the rich history of the district.
