Description
Description
Freeman & Company Ltd was a prominent Sydney photographic studio established in the mid-19th century by William and James Freeman. Regarded as one of Australia’s oldest continuously operating photographic businesses, the studio worked under several names over its history, including Freeman & Co. and Freeman, late Oswald Allen. Operating from George Street, Sydney, the company produced studio portraits, cabinet cards, and cartes-de-visite, and photographed a wide range of individuals and families across Australia and New Zealand during the nineteenth century.
