Description

Object ID2013.113.17TitlePortrait of a Charles [Berridge] Melvaine and Eliza Harrison on their wedding dayDate1899Creatornot specifiedPhotographic studioKing StudioDescriptionLarge framed photograph of a couple. Faded note on verso suggests it is of Charles [Berridge] Melvaine and Eliza Harrison on their wedding day. This would give a date of 1899 and the marriage was registered in Uralla. A pencilled note on verso (very faded and unclear) suggests the item came from a W Crotty of Maitland Street, Uralla. This is almost certainly Walter John Crotty who married Ellen F Melvaine in 1911. This would have made the subject of the photo Crotty's brother-in-law.Original formatPhotographic print
