Ken Jones Store Records, Armidale 1913 - 1953

This series comprises business and financial records, including bank and cheque books (1940–1949), balance sheets (1941–1952), income tax returns, and comprehensive alphabetical business correspondence (1943–1952). It contains significant records from the predecessor/acquired business, A.T. Neil Furniture Shop, including customers' accounts and wages books dating back to 1913.

The collection also includes materials related to Ken Jones' involvement in civic and wartime organizations, such as the Armidale Citizens' Military Welfare Committee, War Savings Groups, and the Consett Davis Memorial Playing Fields Appeal. Notable items include a bronze apothecary’s weight, and manufacturer advertising circulars (paints, blinds, bedding).
