Description
Solomons Studio was known for producing high-quality family, wedding, and portrait photography. The photographer H.B. Solomons relocated from Maitland to Armidale in July 1880. The studio was located on Beardy Street, Armidale.
Walter David Solomons later took over the business from his brother, H.B. Solomons. W.D. Solomons was Armidale mayor from 1911-1912, a member of the New England Jockey Club. He relocated to Manly upon his retirement as passed away there on Sunday 18 September 1949, aged 90 years.
