Established in 1956 and named in honour of pastoralist and philanthropist Phillip Arundell Wright, the College has played an important role in the residential and social life of the University for generations of students. Known for its strong community spirit, traditions, and pastoral support, Wright College has evolved from its original weatherboard buildings into a modern residential community while maintaining a strong connection to its historical identity and alumni network.
