Ramornie Station Records
This series comprises the records of "Ramornie" Station, located at Copmanhurst near Grafton, NSW, and documents the pastoral and business activities of the Tindal family. The collection provides documentation of the station's significant horse breeding operations, including stud books for both "Ramornie" and "Newbold" stations, pedigree information for notable stallions like 'Coolie', and numerous publications and notes on horse breeding.
Cattle management is also represented through herd books, muster books, cattle journals, and sales and purchase records. The administrative records include letterpress books of correspondence from London, cash books, day books, employee and ration accounts, and financial returns. The series contains correspondence and documents related to land management, dealings with the Department of Lands, maps, and business interests such as the Australian Meat Company. Personal correspondence and some photographs of the Tindal family are included.
