This collection documents the formal installation of Dr. Pat O’Shane as the fifth Chancellor of the University of New England on 5 April 1995.
It comprises ceremonial records and official responses: included are the official installation programme, the Vice-Chancellor’s statement, and the response speech delivered by Dr. O'Shane.
A notable inclusion is the handwritten sheet music for “Little Moon,” a tribute composed by Ann Ghandar and dedicated to Dr. O’Shane for the occasion. The collection also features ceremonial certificates of congratulations from a number of Australian universities.
