Miscellaneous Papers of Colonel Percy Phipps (P.P.) Abbott of Glen Innes, N.S.W. Included are: (i) notes, sketch-maps and correspondence re military exercises in which Abbott took part as O.C. 19th Light Horse at Hurstville N.S.W. in 1907; (ii) papers related to his work as a solicitor for the Peel River Land and Mineral Company (Goonoo Goonoo) in the company's appeal against the Crown's valuation of lands for closer settlement on the Goonoo Goonoo estate, 1907-09; (iii) newspaper clippings and electioneering material relating to the Federal election of 1913; (iv) brochures and magazine published by the northern New State Movement, 1920-22, 1929; and (v) personal and family correspondence received, 1917/18 and 1922/23. There is a collection of photographs and memorabilia.
