The collection includes extensive documentation of Donald McLeod Cameron's career as overseer, manager, and studmaster at Welltown, featuring nine personal diaries (1898–1906), thirteen letterpress copybooks (1894–1918), and a stud/stock book (1892–1906). Business records document station operations including flood and drought impacts (1883–1924), land resumptions and appraisals, wages and employment conditions, and sales records.
Personal materials include correspondence from Duncan Sinclair to Donald McLeod Cameron (1894–1918), reminiscences and diary of Christina Cameron (wife of Rev. Archibald Cameron of Kalanga) spanning 1861–1913, and a Kalanga Station account/note book (1905–1924). The series also contains seven photographs documenting Welltown Station buildings, woolshed, mustering teams, (c.1890s–1900), plus 22 boxes of glass negatives probably produced by D.M. Cameron (c.1900–1914).
